The safety of our clients and our staff will not be compromised.
It is the aim of EcoTech to safeguard the health and safety of all employees in accordance with section 2 of the Heath and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Our management team ensure we are up-to-date, adhere to and are aware of the very latest in H&S protocol. As the safety of the general public and our personnel is of paramount importance to us.
We work to and meet the highest health and safety criteria to protect from accident and harm of our employees, the workforces of other organisations who need to work on our projects and to the general public. You can be assured that we are fully insured for public liability and employer's liability. We provide risk assessments, safety policies and method statements.
There is no such thing as zero risk, but by identifying and highlighting potential risk in advance, EcoTech are able to manage or remove its impact from you our client. This is what we mean by risk averse.
Our risk aversion specialists identify and analyse risk ahead of contract and, where possible, will design pre-emptive solutions.
We strive to continually adopt and adapt working practices to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the latest legislation. At the same time, we encourage our workforce to obtain the highest levels of skills through our on-going training schemes.
EcoTech are committed to:
- Creating a safe working environment for all our employees and our clients
- Safeguarding the health and safety of all employees in accordance with section 2 of the Heath and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Using high quality equipment that is all EN74 and British Standards approved
- Maintaining our position of being fully insured, £10 million employer’s liability and £5 million public liability
- All operatives are provided with PPE
- All operatives hold a CSCS/CISRS card
- All operatives undergo regular H&S training on elements such as 'Working at Heights', 'Manual Handling' and '
- Risk assessments & method statements are prepared and followed for all works
- Reviewing our H&S policy annually (minimum) to keep abreast of changing H&S conditions
